Double Happy!

I finally have my own copy of Dream Morning Musume's first album. Or was it a greatest hits package of sorts? Either way, I love it.

I know I promised myself that I will by Maasa's movie (Light Novel) however, I didn't really know that my cousin's husband will be in Tokyo for a few days so I kind of blurted out a list of CDs or DVDs I'd like to have. Morning Musume's was what he bought. He actually bought Maji Desu ka SKA! for himself.

Anyway, it's a good album. I know people were expecting something more ambitious like a full remake of all the OG hits. But let's be realistic, 1 CD of remade material is better than 2 CDs of the originals. But I still can't understand why Love Machine wasn't remade though.

I just received word that Berryz Kobo's performance at Sakura-con was a smashing success. Already I received good reviews about it and can't wait for a video of their performance to be released (when UFA sees fit).

I feel bad for not going. But it's not exactly a cheap proposition for me either. I will probably shell out close to 20,000 Philippine Pesos for me to really enjoy the time.

Seems strange though that Japan is just an hour's flight from Manila but I've never come around to see then. Looks like I'm going to add 'Watching a Berryz Kobo live' on my list of things to do before I die.

Speaking of Berryz Kobo and Sakura-con. I saw the set-list in Hello! Online. I loved the line up which is a good mix of old and new songs. But I am curious why Bye Bye Mata Ne was not included. Sure, it's my favorite song, but it since the girls only sing it during special events, why can't they sing it in this their first foray to the US?

Well at least, All for one, One for all was their encore.
